As a general guide and with a view to offering as much transparency as possible we have outlined below details and/or examples of our costs where it’s possible to do so
The figures that we are referencing below are for general information purposes only and all figures are subject to a specific quote/estimate being given in each case following initial consultation.

The areas in which we offer services and the costs information for those areas, are:-
Property and Conveyancing
Residential Transactions and Conveyancing
Our fees for residential transactions are
- €1,850 plus VAT for transactions under €250,000
- €1,950 plus VAT for transactions between €250,001 to €350,000
- €2,150 plus VAT for transactions between €350,001 to €400,000
- For transactions over €400,000 please contact us to obtain a detailed and tailored quotation.
(In the circumstances and/or occasions where there is additional work beyond the normal transaction such as rectifying matters at the Land Registry prior to sale or correcting issues of Title, this will attract a separate fee)
Typical Expenses/outlays in Sales are:-

Stamp Duty will generally be 1% for residential purchases and 6% for non-residential purchases.
Remortgage of Property
Our fee for a standard Remortgage where we are acting for the Mortgagor of the property is
- €1000 plus VAT
- (In the circumstances and/or occasions where there is additional work beyond the normal Transfer of a Site this will attract a separate fee)
Typical Expenses/outlays in a Remortgage are:-

Voluntary Transfer of Site
Our fee for a Voluntary Transfer of Site where we are acting for the receiver of the site is
- €1000 plus VAT
- (In the circumstances and/or occasions where there is additional work beyond the normal Transfer of a Site this will attract a separate fee)
Typical Expenses/outlays in a Voluntary Transfer are:-

Commercial Property and Conveyancing and Land Registry Title Issues
Such work and issues can take many forms and therefore we will only be able to give a quote or estimate in relation to such matters on a case by case basis. The fee in such matters will depend upon the complexity of the work, time involved, level of expertise involved and urgency of the work.
Please also note that where a conveyancing case goes beyond 3 months due to complications outside what is normal in a conveyancing matter, then we reserve the option to raise an interim bill.
PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS*
Cases involving Personal Injury Claims* can take many forms and therefore we will only be able to give a quote or estimate in relation to such matters on a case by case basis. The fee in such matters will depend upon the complexity of the work, time involved, level of expertise involved and urgency of the work, the documentation required, the nature of the case and soforth. Solicitors charges are generally calculated by reference to time spent on the matter and for information purposes the current hourly rate of a senior solicitor will be charged at in or about €150 to €200 per hour. All fees, outlay and charges will be set out for your following initial consultation as per our obligations under Section 68 of the Solicitors Amendment Act 1994.
PROBATE AND WILLS
Administration of Estates
Such work and issues can take many forms and therefore we will only be able to give a quote or estimate in relation to such matters on a case by case basis. Once we have had a chance to see what is involved, we will provide an estimate of expected fees and costs as soon as possible.
However, as a rough guide our professional fee dealing with estates would tend to be as follows:-
- Where assets can be gathered without obtaining a Grant of Representation – €1,750 plus VAT
- Where a Grant of Representation is required but there are cash assets only – €4,000 plus VAT
- Where a Grant of Representation is required and there are land or property assets – €6,500 plus VAT
- Where the matter involves a particularly large or complicated Estate – contact us directly for a detailed and tailored quotation
Making of Wills
Our usual fee for the preparation of a will is €150 plus VAT
Probate Disputes*
Such work and issues can take many forms and therefore we will only be able to give a quote or estimate in relation to such matters on a case by case basis. The fee in such matters will depend upon the complexity of the work, time involved, level of expertise involved and urgency of the work.
Wards of Court
We charge on the basis of the amount of work to be done and the complexity of the Wardship rather than on a percentage basis. The costs in relation to Wardship matters will generally come out the assets of the Ward.
Enduring Power of Attorney
Our fee in relation to Enduring Powers of Attorney will generally be in the region of €1,000 plus VAT for initial creation.
FAMILY LAW – SEPARATION AND DIVORCE
Our policy in Family Law matters is to give an estimate once we have had a meeting with our clients regarding their situation and options. Such an initial consultation is normally €110 plus VAT. On a general note, it is worth stating that when matters are settled without protracted correspondence and negotiations, our fees will be less than in more contentious cases.
GENERAL AND CLOSED OFF FILES
Our fees in relation to providing copies of items from closed off files is as follows:-
- A request for copies of specific items within one year of completion of matters are normally charged at zero as being part of the normal service. This is subject to further consideration where the amount of copying required is greater than normal.
- A copy of items older than one year is charged at €40 plus VAT. This is subject to further consideration where a number of items are required.
- A copy of an entire file is charged at €70 plus VAT. This is subject to further consideration in the case of larger files.
